Chaperone Policy
The vasectomy service ensures that your care remains our first concern and aims to respect your individuality and dignity.
We understand that intimate examinations and procedures can be embarrassing or distressing.
If you feel that you would be more comfortable having someone with you during your vasectomy procedure you can always invite your partner or a friend or relative to act as a chaperone, but we are committed to putting our patients at ease.
We have ensured that members of our team have been fully trained as chaperones and are certificated to do so, with updated training on a regular basis.
Please let the secretary know at the time of booking or the counsellor at the time of your attendance if you require a chaperone.
